Started violin at the age of four, Reina Yoshioka studied at Toho Gakuen Music High School with Prof. Tomoko Kato (2014-2017) and at Oita prefectural College of arts and culture with Prof. Mayumi Kawase (2017-2018). She is currently studying at University for Music and Performing arts, Vienna with Prof. Edward Zienkowski. She is the laureate of several competitions such as 5 th prize of the “27th Junior Classical Music Competition” in 2014, 1 st prize of the “5 th Kagoshima International Music Competition” in 2015, Grand prix of the “22 nd Miyanichi music Competition” in 2016 and Grand prix of the “Kitakyushu Arts Festival classical concert” in 2017.
