First lessons  of violin Mariia took at the age of six years from her grandmother, famous  violinist, Lidiia Shutko.  She studied at Kyiv general secondary specialized music boarding school named after M. Lysenko ain the class of Olha Korinets and Yaroslava Rivniak. Currently Mariia is a student of National music academy of Ukraine named after P.I.Chaikovskyi (class of professor Olha Rivniak) .

When she was fifteenths years old, she made her first appearance on the stage  as a soloist with the performance of Johannes Brahms Violin Concerto in D Major, Op.77 at the National philharmonic of Ukraine. In 2015 she represented the music school named after M.Lysenko, while performing in different cities of Germany and in Salzburg (Audtria)

In 2016 young violinist  made her first appearance on the stage as a chamber musician, concertmaster and soloist with the performance of the Concert No.3 by J. Brahms at the National Philharmonic of Ukraine.

Mariia Shutko successfully takes part in national and international competitions:

2013  – 1st prize at international instrumental competition of Yevhen Stankovych.  

2017  – 1st prize at ХХІ international competition.

2017  – 4th  prize at international competition in Gifu city (Japan)  

Mariia took part in master classes of Takashi Shimitsu, Sergii Kravchenko and Dmytro Tkachenko

Talented violinist  cooperates with orchestra “Kyiv camerata” and orchestra of  accordion players “Grand accordion ”.
