Jisoo Lee was born in Gwangju in 1996 in Republic of Korea.
She began studying violin from the age of 5 and at age of 8, she became a prizewinner of the Teen National Music competitions in Korea. She also entered the Yewon Arts School at age of 12. There she developed her dream as a violinist. In 2011 she was admitted to the class of Prof. Helfried Fister at the Johann-Joseph-Fux Conservatory in Graz, Austria.
Since 2013 she has been studying with Prof. Helfried Fitser at the State Conservatory of Carinthia. she earned her 1 st Dipom degree at the State Conservatory of Carinthia in 2017. In 2019 she was accepted to the class of Prof. Paivyt Meller in Sibelius academy, University of the arts Helsinki as Erasmus-Exchange student.
Jisoo has worked together with Elisabeth Fister, Ekaterina Rumyantseva, Daniela Damianova, Folke Gräsbeck, Ari Vilhjalmsson.
She has attended masterclasses with Oleh Krysa, Juan Kwoun, Lihay Bendayan and Wonzi Ozim Kim.
